Brennan v. Christie

Can this really happen? Will Trump pardon Christie and all defendants regarding Bridgegate?

Bill Brennan's 2017 to-do list is short and simple — put Chris Christie in jail. Become the two-term New Jersey governor’s successor in Trenton.

Why? How? Let the combative, litigious and determined Brennan explain.

“Chris Christie is an egomaniacal, arrogant, nasty, vindictive person,” the Garden State gadfly declares over breakfast at the corner table of a Jersey diner. “He’s guilty of official misconduct. That’s five years in jail. He can’t get out of it!”

Like so much else in recent New Jersey politics, Brennan’s crusade begins in Fort Lee, N.J., home to the bogus, four-day September 2013 “traffic study” that spawned massive gridlock at the George Washington Bridge.

The bumper-to-bumper political payback followed Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich’s refusal to endorse Christie for reelection.

While New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman declined to say if the governor was even an unindicted co-conspirator, ex-Teaneck firefighter Brennan says Christie’s conduct was definitely criminal.

“Chris Christie was derelict of his duty,” says Brennan, 50, of Wayne. “A duty of the governor is clearly to put a stop to criminal, retaliatory, political retribution.”

He’s due back in Bergen County court for a Feb. 2 probable cause hearing, as the governor’s lawyer — paid for by the taxpayers — fights to get the case tossed.

If all that’s not enough, Brennan is mounting a long-shot campaign as a Democratic candidate for governor, hopeful his pursuit of the widely reviled Christie will resonate with voters.

Yeah, big news.  In even bigger news, Obama commuted the sentence of Bradley "Chelsea sex change " Manning who by the way disclosed 400,000 classified documents while he was a private in the Army.  Guess the Democrats aren't interested in that are they.  His defense was also paid by the taxpayers.

Obama cannot leave fast enough! It's going take a lot law enforcement to restore order in parts of our nation. Hold on it's going to be one democrat progressive liberal temper tantrum after another.

I worked with Bill. While I don't always agree upon his point of view, or how he goes about accomplishing his goals, he is a pit bull when he puts his mind to something. Christie is in trouble if his political cronies don't pull strings to kill the case.

Soooo...you're saying he is a nutty leftist who will do whatever he has to "accomplish his goal" not the goal of other people even if it's hmmmm...unethical,   Yep, sounds like a crazy NJ democrat, he'll do just fine in this state.

No, that's what you are saying. If there is a way to use the law to give someone their just desserts, he will do it. That is why his case hasn't been thrown out. The judges know he has them. Do not underestimate him.
