Double Main Beam Buck

I found this guy dead 10 yards behind my stand this afternoon. It's a half shed buck that has been dead about a week. Upon examination there appears to be a gunshot hole through the neck. I want to search for the missing shed in the near future. As I moved the deer to examine for cause of death, the remaining antler shed off.

The buck appears to have been in duress for a while. I am positive that someone didn't purposely leave the deer if it was shot. The hole in neck I observed, possibly could have been from and antler wound caused by fighting. I couldn't be 100 % sure.

Yea I'm sure it was not left on purpose. You never know it's not an easy life out there in the wild

No. I am new to this particular property, and have not had a chance to set up cameras. I spoke with a friend of mine who hunts in the area, and he is unfamiliar with him also.

Yep, I am really bummed out that such a unique buck never got to reach it full potential. I understand that wild animals face a tough time every day year around. Still sucks for sure!
