Texas Aoudad and Javelina

My son was hunting in West Texas last week. No high fences. He said it was a badass tough hunt in very rugged terrain, "Don't tell Mom" dangerous. He lucked out with his sheep. It was a loner. On the prowl like a buck looking for hot does and it walked about 2 miles basically right to them as they were stalking it.FB_IMG_1484167893112.jpg

Wow! Just read tjfslaughters' post, my son flew into El Paso...

Looks like a nice trip.  Who was the outfitter?

No outfitter. Just a couple old disorganized rancher brothers. Accommodations were an old line shack 4 room "house" that did have a functioning bathroom and kitchen, cook your own food. They overbooked clients, so my son and Eric had to spend a night or two in a RV trailer that was parked there. And it sounds like it was total Hillbilly Central with run down sheds and machinery and crap laying all over the place. I would have a hard time recommending it .
