New Jersey 1st place 1957 but since then there are many bigger ones at that time it ranked 16 overall and soon fell behind as the deer hear got better in NJ.

Im sure a lot has changed in 60 years. Back then you hunted woods. Now you hunt back yards. Ever since they started the unlimited antlerless crap, they have been pounding the herd. But, hey, we have plenty of yearlings and 1 1/2 year old deer running around. If you like to hunt mature bucks, NJ sucks
