Got out for a little goose hunting in the snow. Well they did not fly much this morning. We did have a small flock of snows come in and we only dropped one. Should have waited one more circle. Then a couple of Canadians came and we got one. Bad shooting...lol. as we were picking the decoys up we have a single canadian come diving in on us, luckily Mark had his gun on him and was able to load and take him. Qe ended with 2 Canadians and 1 Snow goose. Marks dog Colt was awesome to watch getting the geese. Well trained retriever. Colt was a very proud dog and carried the snow goose all the way back to the farm. Fun times in some tough conditions.

Would have thought a great day for goose but it snowed to hard and not many flew.

 

I thought the same thing and we, too, had nothing flying except for a small group at 7:30am. Once the snow started falling hard, nothing flew. Very disappointing. But I'm excited for Monday! I think we're gonna have lots of action Monday and Tuesday.
