Ok, toes are frozen, buttcheek is numb from sitting on it.. I'm not laying down in the snow wishing I had warmer boots and a chair

Took my friend and his 80 year old dad out goose hunting this morning. Got 3 on first pass, one each. Then the snow came. Covered out decoys and spooked the geese. Even just a dusting of snow kept the flocks from committing to our set up. Had a great time anyway. Pop got tucked in his seat, with a blanket on his lap as he was coughing for the last 2 weeks. He was happy to finally get out hunting! I wish the weather held up for another hour, we could have really let the guns bark.

We bailed. My son started his intense catcher position practice last night and he had a lesson this afternoon. He just hanging out. I just started a fire in the fireplace. I'm ready to grab a glass of wine and watch some tv. I'll be out a few times next week. Good luck!

I just came out.  Only saw turkeys.  Had some deer sign on the way in, none on the way out.  I'm thinking mid-day hunts aren't going to be productive in this spot.

I stood up and danced around the last hr to keep my toes warm.

Seen 13 deer including 3 busted up scrub bucks and a fox. Could have taken all of them, but was waiting on something decent

That's my bolt ball.  And it's so freakin' cold that I could not pull the bolt out of it from today's hunt.  Gotta' wait for spring.
