Figured today would be a great day to work a half day.  Had a couple of doe come out around 330pm.  Wind swirled and they took off.  Saw another deer same spot as the doe half hour later.  He was hanging tight and after about ten minutes saw the his rack.  He was checking things out pretty hard.  Buck waited another 10 minutes and he took 2 steps out.  No blood trail and complete pass through.  Chest cavity full of blood when I gutted.  Tracked him by all the leaves he was kicking up running after the shot about 60 yards.   I have a few trail cam pics of him.  He has a hole in the base on his left side that is pretty cool.
