Back to basics/Thunderheads

Have had great success with 100 grain Swhackers for several years now until the last two deer I have taken. Well I have went back to basics and bought new Thunderheads. Shot them with old blades today, made a micro adjustment and they are flying like darts like I remember. Can't wait to unleash one during Winter bow, starting hopefully tomorrow afternoon. Killed lots of deer with the heads, don't know why I switched to begin with lol.

I agree stick with what works.. I still use a 3 blade Muzzy 100 grain.. I started to

Get wrapped up into all these new broadhead commercials and advertisements. Than I asked myself has a Muzzy ever failed.. Nope so I still use then. Good luck this season I hope you get to launch a thunderhead and have success.

Thunderheads are great heads , just need to keep an eye that the o rings don't dry out.

Shot them in 125 when they first came out. Then 150 and 180.

All were good then the 100 grain came out and left the best blood trails out of all of them .

I had small stainless washers milled down and shot them instead of the o rings .

Made them super solid.

Good luck in winter bow. They will get the job done
