After going to check my cam earlier this week and finding my ladder stand stolen, I decided to switch it up and go to a spot where I knew deer were traveling. Went in with the climber around 1pm today. Had a wide 6pt come in with this guy following behind him. He knew something was up though and wouldn't come any closer than 30yds while the 6 was about 15yds out. He gave me a broadside shot and I took it. Happy New Year!!!!

I assume you are hunting WMA or other public parcel to have your stand stolen.  It would truly suck to have that happen on private land.
