Looks like a bass magnet - like the feathers down the center, I can visualize that undulating with every twitch...   Would love to cast that thing off the Montauk surf in October - just never make the time.

You tie any without the center feathers so as to add a pork rind or plastic worm/eel to the hook?

Fished barnegat inlet a few weeks ago. If you didn't have a white bucktail or a white/pearl shad...You didn't catch. Period. They didn't touch chartreuse, orange/gold, or black. It was that specific. When they are keyed on Peanuts white is all they want.

I tie them with or without hackle it doesn't matter.white will always catch if they're there and biting...montauk is overrated it's actually better in June with eels on the south side.in the fall we had a better bite here at the rips down to ocean County beaches
