Big mature doe is lot smarter than most bucks. Hard to get some times.

That's all I'm after for the freezer the rest of the season.  Already got one buck this year, and one taxidermy bill is all my wallet needs to absorb.

Congrats on the successes. I saw nothing in zone 50, but heard 10 shots coming from the same direction in less than 5 minutes. I'm glad I had a big tree behind me in that direction.

Just got back from zone 11...1 doe on other property ...no shots and no vehicles parked on rt29

Quiet in zone 12. Had 10 Does and a spike pass under me at dark. Not a single shot as far as I could hear.
