20 gauge 003.JPG
I sighted in 2 inches high at 50 yrds with the lightfields. I really don't know what they do past 100 yds.

yes the hasting special one I just want one I feel the gun was ahead of its time and some major company down the road will re introduce the 3-5 20 gauge

I know this is a little old but I feel as if this load was kind of unnecessary. If you wanted this type of magnum load why wouldn't you just use a 12 ga. instead? Never quite understood the 3.5" 20 ga for this reason.

Mine likes the lightfields but I've never shot the accutips out of it so I may try them out since I've been hearing so many good reviews about them. I love my H&R and I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too. Good luck with it.

Dan, why the 3.5" 20ga.? you would equal a 12ga., also 3.5" 20ga. ammo isn't easy to find

Mine LOVES the 2 3/4 inch Light Field Hybred EXPs

This was from this year - about 110 yards. Little-No drop from having it sited in at 100 yards. Perfect performance.

Same set up my son uses. No complaints. 4 shots, 4 deer. 2 ran 40 yds, 2 dropped in their tracks.

Zone8, how do the light fields do past 100 yards?

Have not shot them past 100, have not been anyplace with a range longer than that.

I shoot 3 inch accutips....comfortable out to 150 yds. Unlike all the others, I do not recommend the egw rings. I insist on steel rings only. I like warne or leupold rings. I shoot the 20 and more confident in this gun then my rifles.
