Way the weather looks and all the bear talk think it's going to be low

Looks like one was taken on Struble Rd. in Stokes, as a fire road gate was opened and there was tire tracks in the snow. They only let you drive up there if you get a bear.

27 down today.  No tagged bears taken today.

With the lack of as many bear hunters as in the past and the numbers taken in October, the bears that aren't denned up have been educated.  I have yet to see the bear I am hunting show up before 5:30pm.

No hunters this six day ,all lots in state land are empty,every year less and less ,it's becoming a bow hunter world.first week nov every lot had trucks for a week.Everyone saves vaca for rut

I'm actually quite happy. Lower bear hunter participation in the December season means less guys from south jersey tracking north. So we've got our woods back

You're absolutely correct.  In addition a lot of guys take off the week before for the early muzzy days instead of taking off for 6-day.
