I hope these raining days bring in some ducks! Slim pickings in my spot the last few times out.

I think it will help. There have been some birds pushed down prior to this storm. Fronts from the north push the birds more so than a southern front. What will really help is the rain. Water levels are way down. that gives the birds more access to food they otherwise couldn't reach. Keeps them in one spot.

This drought extends well into New England, but not all the way up to Canada.  I was on the phone today with a buddy that still works for Trout Unlimited in northern VT and NH and he was explaining that his area isn't too bad, but further south is as dry as we are here in NJ.

Been deer hunting one spot that has a pond and have not heard any ducks there until today.

Need a good cold front. It's looking like the end of next week we may get a real cold front.

It's helped bubba. I checked my spot and found a few (15) swans and about 150 new ducks today.  Good luck this week!

Good to hear the storm may be bringing some down. First year with no ducks for three trips out so far. Passed on 3 mergansers that was it in range Thanksgiving morning..
