Took Advantage of the Winds....

Took advantage of the winds yesterday and try out my new fishing rod!!  Fish were everywhere!  Caught four stripers between 30"-38" in about 45 minutes. Caught this dinner plate special 20 feet from the shoreline!

In a rush to get out of the house, I left my snagging hooks behind...that was the weapon of choice as the baitfish was so thick you could walk on them!  I had a few hits on Bombers but was able to dig out a big 5" Storm Wild Eye.  It was bronze but the guy a few over from me was using white/silver and had a lot more hits.  I was fishing off of Asbury Park/Deal area.  The fish are here, now is the time!
