Apartment or house rental

Ok, so here's the deal, this passed April I took a job with marinemax in Brick, but I live in Flanders in Morris county...........yeah, it's an hour and a half commute down and 2 hours and change back with traffic.

I'm going to look at a complex in Farmingdale, can anyone tell me about the area? At first glance it looks ok enough. Also if anyone knows of any other complexes or a house to rent year round that info would be helpful, just so no one says it, Craig's list has been nothing but scammers and a complete waste of time.

I'm looking on a number of apartment sites, but thought I'd toss it out here and see if anyone here knows of anything. Thanks!

Hunt with a Vizsla, cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog! :D RIP Tilly monster. (Attila) 2004-2017.

I think brick and Tom's river is a more affordable area to live in

does this mean you'll be hunting down in the pines now?Apts your limited to doing cool thing like hanging deer and stuff plus you gotta deal with people in a tight community atleast of you rent a home you'll have some privacy

I just rented my first apartment, I looked at the complex in farmingdale and they had terrible flooding during sandy. I would avoid it, I hunt in farmingdale and love it!! Great little area. I rent in spring lake because I teach in Neptune. I pay 1650$ a month, it sucks. But looking to buy a house after the lease is up
