Who is starting tues

I am not setting Tues going to wait until after youth day or maybe deer season .till I know the fur is good and prime . has anybody Checked any critters yet .

I might do a little in a few days. The farm i hunt needs a little coon thinning plus the owner asded if i would get rid of some. Problem with them getting in the barn to the grain bin and he has chickens.

Yup my friend has a problem to so I my set him up next Sunday bunch of coon and fox .

Only prime fur Will sell this year. Especially coon, do as you want, but be advised.

man, trappers have had it rough past couple years, lousy fur prices, and now people are trying to ban traps.

I'm itching to start and get a few firsts then I will back off for a little while

We need coons caught in the DP traps, very important. we went from 7,000 coons with cages and restraints a year to 12,600 in one season on low fur prices just by adding the DP. we need to see an increase this season, as long as we can still use them. In 1984 when we lost the leg hold NJ was catching 40,000 coon a season with 4 to 5 k trappers. with 1400 trappers we need to get those numbers up to 20k to hold the populations and reduce the rabies problem.  we need to show we are trapping to reduce human health issues or we will loose the DP trap and everything else we are using if this S2750 goes to floor.

I still need to pick some up .but hard to drop the money on new traps with no return and with them talking about taking them away . But I think I am going to order a dozen.
