Ended day north of water gap wading - went 22 of 24 on shad most were roe up to or just over 4 lbs. Earlier picked up my September 2023 9 pt and put it on the wall but now lots of re-arranging to do. That assassin game causes accidents every year along with numerous person with a gun and suspicious person calls. The first day it starts is the worst. Guys think the calls are gonna be real. Schools don’t sanction it but don’t stop it either. Eventually someone is gonna get hurt.

Made some headway tonight by digging a pit in one corner of the pad and pumping all the water to it then another pump out to the swale. Pumps will run all night. Fingers crossed.

6 foot. 12" of stone, then dry concrete. The area where the barn is going used to be a riding arena. Now I'm thinking it must have been low lying at one time because the area is backfilled with bank run over a blue clay base about 2 foot down. The water is getting trapped.

Hit the SBR after work played catch and release with 11 rainbows to 18". The water is going away fast need some rain real soon!

Had 2 hours before work and literally walked right into them. Was set up a little after 5 and as light started peaking I saw a bird roosted 35 yards in front of me. I started scanning the skyline and found 3 more from 35 to 70 yards away. I couldn’t move to unzip my pack so I decided to just sit until they flew down and then make a plan. Well this guy pitched to within 10 yards at 6:05 and 30 seconds later it was done. I’ll wait for a long beard with my E tag but with only a few hours to get it done I’m pumped. Sprinkled a little bit of Dad in the area and thanked him. Pretty solid morning.

She's back together fingers crossed she's a runner. Gonna get batteries in tomorrow and hopefully push a button to a living motor. Other than working like a jerk project wasn't too bad only thing special needed was a torque wrench put the head back on the block
