  1. Past hour
  2. I have been chipping away at this project all winter. Turned my bass tracker into a Carp tracker. Finally took it out and it's perfect.
  3. Looks great. Hopefully you stuff it full of fish.
  4. Yesterday
  5. Striper fishing should heat up very soon
  6. Why would it be expensive if you don't want the rug? If you take to a butcher(to process the meat) couldn't he just toss it or keep it himself? Is there a law that you have to keep the hide/skull? I have no idea. Never hunted bears. My apologies if you have to keep them beside the meat(wanton waste law).
  7. Updated the SeaRay Laguna and launched today. Removed the old school stripes and lowered the railing. Love the way it came out. Time to start catching
  8. Luckily I can be picky in my spots.....have 600 acres to myself, loaded w bears. I stopped hunting them (shot 5 in my life, 4 here & 1 in Maine). I don't think I will ever hunt them again. I put a few close friends on them or trade tuna trips for bear hunts. The bears pictured were nearly identical in weight.....both were right at 300 lb dressed weight.
  9. She hunt in a tree stand or ground blind
  10. My brother let a 400 plus pounder go at 8 yds. 100 yds from the shed where we have a lift and a quad all because of the cost factor. We had 6 guys in camp ( ny) th at weekend. Would have been no effort at all but butcher and tanning is expensive eap if you don’t really want the meat or the rug. we didn’t want to harvest something just to say he got a bear. Me. I got 2 bear in nj. One shotgun one compound That’s enough. I have been trying to get my friend one for 3 seasons now with no luck
  11. Unit 12 landowner tag? Has to be ranch only right?
  12. Sailfish is usually released because they are NOT tasty
  13. Very cool, congratulations!
  14. Thank you! Both my Father and I are thrilled to learn a little more about the history of the bow that has been in the family for a little while!
  15. You also need to be carful when mixing. I read it can cause neurological issues with cats just inhaling it and when you are mixing, handling high concentrate, I’m sure you are inhaling some potent fumes, not to mention possibility of exposing your skin to it. I use it for the reasons in your post but I prefer to spent money instead of risking unnecessary exposure during mixing.
  16. The draw in New Mexico sucks! I will be hunting Unit 12 with a Landowner tag, it wasn’t cheap! I wish my Colorado ranch didn’t have all that winterkill, it will take years to get back to normal! Good luck in the Colorado draw!
  17. Sudsy

    Assorted brass

    I pulled out 20 at random 17 - LC 08 2 - Remington Peters 1 - Winchester
  18. Very fun to catch. Any jumping?
  19. That is the craziest tag I have ever seen
  20. In the name of science they deface the duck!! How dumb is this? I saw swans with giant neck rings looking even less comfortable. great pic!
