    Remington 870 pump 20gauge and franchi affinity 3.5 in 12 ga. The franchi is dealt out to 60 with longbeards. I like the 20 gauge though as it’s smaller so it helps with mobility in the woods. like you said I like close shots anyway so the 20 does the job well enough. id say 70% of turkeys I’ve killed have been within 15 yds-20yds.

    Do not go to Targeteers!! Just don't. Also avoid B&B archery in Middleton NY I have personally purchased bows from Garden State Bow and Reel, Bob and AJs in PA, Lancaster Archery in PA, and Simon Peter. Any of these would be a good choice with Bob and AJs being my favorite.

    One day this year I’m hoping to spend a day or 2 trout fishing the flat brook. I know certain areas have some particular rules. I was thinking of putzing around between the Roy bridge and walpack center. Now if I’m reading this correctly anything above stream of Roy bridge is catch and release and hook/lure restrictions etc? So I would have to make sure I am standing on the downstream side of the bridge correct? Thanks for any help in advanced.

    Remington 1187 Super Magnum with Longbeard Choke Mossberg 835 with both the Longbeard Choke & Indian Creek Choke ..... Longbeard Choke is slightly better with Longbeard Ammo than the Indian Creek
