  3. I have added this in to what,I started to learn back in 1982. Especially the Knife Basics. Solid video. Others show more in depth on the basics.
  4. Good luck, step by step updates please
  5. Will be great to see this build over time. Good luck with it!
  6. The time has finally arrived to get my pole barn built. I have been working to get an old riding arena removed as well as an old sheep lean to demoed. This past weekend we laid out the barn, stripped the top soil, and laid down 3" of stone for the pad base. After the build is complete, the insulation and piping for in slab heat will go down followed by 6" of fiberglass reinforced concrete. Electric and plumbing conduits will also go in before the slab is poured. The build will be a 50w x 80l x 14h main barn with a smaller 46 x 20 barn attached. The smaller, "bunkhouse" barn will have a 12' lean to porch, facing the woods, for cooking and hanging out. I will update with pics as the progress goes on. Thanks for looking.
  7. I'm selling my Tactacam 5.0 with the FTS mount. The camera works great! I haven't used the FTS. Not shown but included is the battery(it's in the camera). MicroSD card not included. Located in Asbury, NJ Warren county. The video was shot just after sunset. The deer is at 25 yards. The camera is mounted on a crossbow.
  8. I thought there was a NJ bill recently allowing bear spray
  9. Rednecks Pride is having a mini convention with seminars Saturday afternoon June 8th. Will be held at the Croton Gun Club in Hunterdon Cty. More info in the link. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?id=100057573094970&story_fbid=881740223755073&locale=ms_MY
  10. Pro Charging Systems model RS2. Two 6 amp banks. 12 Volt. Used less than 3 years. $125 Located in Asbury, NJ Warren County.
  11. Today
  12. I bet it is more so one of those things where they will just tack it on if you did something more egregious, but if its the only thing they will just ignore it. It's like all the ticky-tack regulations that they add on if you are found trespassing and poaching deer -- "Oh, you didn't sign your license? ding. No license attached to your outer clothing? ding."
  13. Helping out a friend who's looking to sell off some brass and doesn't really do the internet. Located in at my house in Manalapan NJ just off rt 9. Can also meet at Central Jersey Rifle Pistol. Cash n carry greatly preferred. Any electronic payment stuff you'll have to do with him direct (not entirely sure he even has it) Once fired - mixed head stamps Picked though it all but haven't counted the individual calibers out yet total so the amounts are approximate I'm going to run the expensive magnum rounds through the tumbler. 300 Win Mag - .75 a case, around 150 cases 7 mm Mag - .75 a case, around 100 6.5 Creedmore - .40 a case - around 1000 6.0 Creedmore - .40 a case - around 200 270 WSM - . 75 a case - around 100 300 WSM - . 75 a case - around 100 270 Win - .40 a case - around 50 243 Win - .40 a case - around 100 25-250 - .40 a case - around 100 223 - .05 a case - around 1000
  14. Not arguing....yes, it is illegal by law to carry over 3/4 of an oz. Most officers wouldn't know this (or that there is a law that prohibits exploding golf balls). It would unlikely be enforced (even if known it was a law). Most officers have common sense, I said Most. I would bet this law has been enforced once in the history of it being Enacted. But, yes you are correct...it is a law.
  15. Yes we can play what is all day long. But fact is the law is the law.
  16. New price, trying to fund another purchase $700
  17. Bears, I deal with them every time I go in the woods, they aren't an issue ...I put my camera back out yesterday and got it back from repairs...walking in I had bear 30 yards away, while setting up the camera, and just put our a bucket of minerals two more bears came in and got within 15 yards I just yelled out and off they went
  18. Agreed but there are officers who believe you can't have hallow point bullets at all. And here's a scenario that plays in my head. I don't carry bear spray but I could see this happening to someone Get stopped for a minor traffic violation on way to or from hunting with bear spray. That hunter has a ccw. The way the law is written of notification that individual has to inform that there is a fire arm in the car even if not carrying. Officer decides to look further or even just sees the can of bear spray it is technically an illegal weapon. It's like ccw most officers I know wouldn't hassle for having it in say apple bees but law says no ccw in restaurants that serve alcohol. I wouldn't risk it. Yes it's concealed but God forbid someone sees it. In addition to that everything is on camera now so it's hard for an officer to have that discretion and I would never want to put one in that position
  19. Tractor Supply, I add 1oz to 16oz of water, shake well in a spray bottle, spray your clothes allow to dry and those little creatures stay off and this bottle last a long time and cheaper then other products like Sawyers
  20. Are you suggesting DEET is a bear repellent? I thought it only worked on ticks.
  21. Congrats! Just had my two boys pass two weeks ago. We can’t wait for youth turkey!
