Only met the man once and he left an impression on me.

He will be missed

Sad day.  He fought with courage and grace. My hope is that he now rests in peace, and enjoys the comfort in which he now finds himself.

 

"For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, because we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

I am so sorry to hear the news of the loss of our friend Stevo. Although I never met the man, we had several interaction on this site. I considered Steve a true to life hero and patriot. He was also the first one to offer a helping hand when there was somebody in need. It is a rare individual indeed that literally has the respect and admiration of everybody on this site. An American hero has passed, and the world is a lesser place without him. I pray that he rests in peace and that his family finds comfort knowing that he touched so many lives. On behalf of my family, I thank Steve for everything but especially his exemplary service to this great nation. Rest In Peace my hero.

RIP my friend... I will miss you and our chats. From building my first AR with your guidance to fixing my FIL rifle that was passed down to me to stopping by the orchard to see you with the family. I’m glad you got to meet my son as an infant. You are an inspiration to all of us.
