The last Stevo update

I’m very sorry to hear about the loss of Steve.. He was a man amongst men ..

I had the good fortune of meeting Steve almost 2 years ago when I sold him a rifle he had dreamed of owning for many years..

Since then Steve and I would continuously run into each other at different places.. (gun range, tree farm, apple orchard, trap shoots etc)

We’d talk for hours about everything..He always had a good story and a kind word to listen to.. His love of guns and country were second only to his wife and family..

The world is definatly a lesser place without him .. Rest In Peace Steve..You will be greatly missed ..

Soldiers Heaven

Stevo was my idol,a mentor and just a downright hell of a nice person!

He alway's helped anyone and everyone.Never had a bad thing to say!

I miss him his stories and his pig.

Heaven has a new angel, carry on my friend :goodbye:

Stevo once said.....

Because of that "Tho shalt not kill" thing soldiers can't go to heaven. But I don't believe we are going to Hell. I think there is a special place for soldiers like me,a soldiers heaven.

Halfway down the trail to Hell,

In a shady meadow green
Are the Souls of all dead troopers camped,
Near a good old-time canteen.
And this eternal resting place
Is known as Fiddlers' Green.

Marching past, straight through to Hell
The Infantry are seen.
Accompanied by the Engineers,
Artillery and Marines,
For none but the shades of Cavalrymen
Dismount at Fiddlers' Green.

Though some go curving down the trail
To seek a warmer scene.
No trooper ever gets to Hell
Ere he's emptied his canteen.
And so rides back to drink again
With friends at Fiddlers' Green.

And so when man and horse go down
Beneath a saber keen,
Or in a roaring charge of fierce melee
You stop a bullet clean,
And the hostiles come to get your scalp,
Just empty your canteen,
And put your pistol to your head
And go to Fiddlers' Green.

“In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen.” -Theodore Roosevelt

Very sad. Knew it was coming but never want to face it. So sorry for your loss. My condolences. Me and my boys met him at one of the rimfire shoots. In the group pic those are my boys in front and to the left of Stevo. They had a great time that day. I will wait on telling my boys this news as an uncle of theirs just passed away on Monday.

Again you have my deepest condolences.

Nick
