got some great pics while away..   Including a baby javelina, and great shot of a fox trying to catch some doves.   Ending with a young flop-antlered spike... Bizarre.  

I see some limited white oak acorns in my woods - wasn't expecting any, and fresh sign all around trees that are dropping a few. 

 

No shooter bucks at any of my trail cam spots (doesn't mean there are not any, the better hunting is often away from them), but feeling very blessed to have connected with a great buck last Friday of September.      

 

Looking forward to November!

loving the genetics of that split brow 10 pt in last pic - probably a 2.5 year old buck, sure hope he survives the long season and winter... 

 

That fox is probably the one JerseyJay rescued out of the storm drain LOL..  First bear is z2, second bear is behind my house.
