here's a weird one

Well, at least I can say its more than what we saw last year on this property. This is the place that had the pack of yotes running around - property owner told me he hasn't heard them for many months though. Don't know if they moved on or what. But now this young buck showed up.

 

What's up with his headgear? They are really tall but they aren't symmetrical.

Look at his back left leg, he has a injury to it. All the pictures he is holding it up and it's straight. That's why his rack is screwed up.

You're right. It looks like that he may of been hit by a car.

He's got some interesting genes.. Probably a nice young tasty 1 year, 3 month old.  May have dinged a back leg hence the asymmetrical growth.   Good luck if he's on your list!

Here's one with similar characteristics as the one on your cam. This Buck was 5.5 yrs old when

I took him last season.

He was perfectly healthy and 165# dressed when taken, but the butcher mentioned he found an area that looked like a possible previous injury on his left side that had healed over.

 

So yours may stay freaky (or not) depending on the situation, but he will grow nonetheless.
